GLPS and Aspen Institute in Germany organized a Roundtable Discussion on the topic: “A European Future for Kosovo”

On January 28, Group for Legal and Political Studies, in cooperation with The Aspen Institute in Germany have organized a Roundtable Discussion on the topic: “A European Future for Kosovo?”, held in Berlin. During this discussion the panelists discussed on the Kosovo’s progress on the EU integration path and reflect on the country’s expectations, opportunities, and key challenges ahead. Topics will include the reform progress, the visa liberalization process, the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, the benefits and challenges of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, Kosovo’s involvement in CEFTA, and also what role Germany, the EU and other partners can play in this process. This Roundtable Discussion was organized under the support of the Think Tank Fund (TTF) – Open Society Foundation, through an organizational development grant and under the Building Bridges initiative.

Mr. Peter Beyer – Member of the German Bundestag, Rapporteur for Kosovo and Serbia in the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Coordinator for Transatlantic Cooperation in the Federal Foreign Office;

Mr. Sabine Stöhr – Head of Western Balkans Division, Federal Foreign Office;

Mr. Fisnik Korenica – Senior Research Fellow, Group for Legal and Political Studies.
